Junior Jazz Youth Basketball – Officials
The following are the rule information, guidelines, and training videos for 2020 Jr. Jazz Basketball:
Officials switch positions on every foul call
The Trail Official is on scorer tableside, just above the free-throw line extended and halfway between the nearer free-throw lane line extended and the sideline.
The Lead Official is on the opposite side of the floor approximately 4 feet from the nearer lane line and well off the end line. The Lead Official steps into the free throw lane visually and verbally indicate the number of free throws administered. Bounce the ball to the thrower and back out of the lane.
