Alive at 25 is a National Law Enforcement Curriculum provided by the Wyoming Highway Patrol. Traffic crashes are the leading cause of teen fatalities. Young drivers are involved in fatal crashes at more than twice the rate of all others. This program specifically targets drivers between the ages of 16 and 24. Alive at 25 is a highly interactive 4 1/2 hour program which encourages young drivers to take responsibility for their driving behavior. Alive at 25 instructors use personal examples and even humor to get their point across. There is a workbook, interactive media segments, discussions, role-playing, and short lectures to help drivers develop convictions and strategies that will keep them safer on the road.
Classes are provided in Green River and in Rock Springs. To locate a course, a defendant can go online at www.aliveat25.us
